Pet-friendly hotel in a good area not far from the main market square, the pub / restaurant, and great pubs and restaurants. Unique and new-fashioned room with closet space, tea and coffee. Good size bathroom with a tub.

Couples with taste should definitely consider this place
The staff were warm. I couldn't believe how fabulous the blue cheese butter was with my steak, it was divine and something I'll never forget.
A bit pricey, but honestly, the experience made it worth it.

Had a good stay! The rain shower in our room was heavenly, and the breakfast offerings were fantastic, especially the locally laid eggs. Dinner was equally nice, with the chicken sandwich being the best I've ever had!

The breakfast was lovely and filling, and I loved the local charm of the place. Plus, you've got great spots nearby like The Old Stocks Inn and The White Hart for a cheeky pint or a good meal!
Despite paying extra for a 'larger' room, it felt cramped and disorganised. Navigating those stairs with mobility issues was a right faff. More attention could've been given to us disabled guests, especially with all the pooches about!

would definitely book again
The bed was king size and super comfy. Our room had a lovely private bathroom with a walk-in shower. The complimentary breakfast had freshly cooked options and tasty local ingredients. The hotel is in a really central spot, perfect for exploring the town and nearby attractions. There's free parking available too.

We enjoyed a peaceful night in our Standard Double Room. The breakfast was superb with friendly staff ensuring everything was perfect. Don't miss the bar's charming atmosphere! A tip, request a room away from adjoining properties for a quieter experience.
